About

"Clay is fashioned into vessels; but it is on their empty hollowness, that their use depends." - Lao Tzu

My name is Cristina, and I am a Spanish based potter currently residing in the pyrenees. Through my trajectory as a visual artist, I explored many types of creative mediums, hopping from painting to photography to finally finding my passion for ceramics.
Each piece I make is thrown on the potter's wheel, using a variety of high fired stoneware clay.
Handcrafting each piece means every pot is one of a kind, which is a quality I find makes artesanal work so unique.
I'm drawn to rounded silhouettes and soft curvatures, and use a broad mix of earth toned glazes.

If there are any pieces you would like commissioned, please dont hesitate to contact me!
